• First time home buyers eligible for a maximum $8,000 tax credit.
• Current home owners who have resided for 5 years in their home being sold are eligible for a maximum $6500 tax credit.
• The contract must be written and accepted before April 30, 2010, and must close before July 1, 2010.
• Single taxpayers with incomes up to $125,000 and married couples with incomes up to $225,000 qualify for the full tax credit.
• Purchased home cannot exceed $800,000.
