Home sale prices in the Birmingham area dropped 2.7 percent in December. Birmingham and the state of Alabama fared better than the nation as a whole, which saw prices fall approximately 3.1 percent.
Prices are forecasted and hoped to increase in the Birmingham area by the end of 2010.
