According to the Greystone Legacy Homeowners Association, the word from Birmingham is that they are currently working on the bridge foundation. After this they will open bids for the bridge structure. Residents of Shelby and Jefferson counties are anxiously waiting for the reopening of this bridge across Lake Purdy. It will make travel from Sicard Hollow Road to 280 much easier.
