In the last few weeks of April, applications for U.S. home mortgages rose for the first time in several months. The Mortgage Bankers Association said that its mortgage application activity index rose by 5.3%. This includes activity for both refinancing and purchases. The loan requests for home purchases actually rose 10%.
It is good to see activity on the rise...let's hope it continues in the next few months as well.
